Karolle Rabarison has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and organizations. Karolle started their career as an Academic Assistant at Furman University and later became a Hollingsworth Summer Research Scholar. Karolle then worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Darla Moore School of Business. Karolle joined the Duke University Talent Identification Program as an Instructor, where they taught various classes to academically gifted students.

Karolle moved on to become a Consultant and Social Enterprise Fellow at Gray Matters Capital, where they worked with low-cost private schools and social entrepreneurs. Karolle also contributed to the launch and outreach strategy for an affiliate of UnLtd India.

Later, Karolle worked as a Program Development Consultant for TechnoServe, focusing on improving livelihoods for small-scale farmers and entrepreneurs. Karolle played a key role in securing funding to expand programs in India and East Africa.

Karolle then took on the role of Global Community & Content Manager at Samasource, where they helped establish the brand identity for the Sama Group and created digital strategies to showcase the organization's work.

Karolle co-founded Badal ja! and championed gender and social justice in Mumbai through online channels and partnerships with local organizations.

Karolle also worked as an Editor at The Morning News and played a crucial role in the marketing and communications team at the World Wide Web Foundation. Karolle managed relationships with public sector agencies, technology companies, and civil society organizations to advocate for affordable internet access.

Currently, Karolle serves as the Director of Communications at the Online News Association, where they collaborate with the team to connect journalists and newsroom leaders with resources to better serve their audiences.

Karolle Rabarison has a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Furman University, where they were recognized as a James B. Duke Scholar. Karolle also completed graduate coursework in Economics at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. Additionally, they hold a Certificate in Social Enterprise Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
