Chidrup Shah

Chidrup Shah has extensive work experience in the insurance sector. They worked as a Vice President at Online PSB Loans starting from November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Vice President at Arron Insurance Brokers Private Limited from April 2021 to November 2022.

Chidrup also worked at SBI General Insurance, where they held the roles of Sr. Underwriting Manager - Corporate & SME from May 2018 to April 2021, and Underwriting Manager - Corporate & SME from August 2014 to May 2018.

Before joining SBI General Insurance, Chidrup worked at ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd. They held the positions of AM - Customer Service from June 2012 to July 2014, and Manager - Corporate Health from February 2011 to June 2012.

Prior to their tenure at ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd., Chidrup worked at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd as an Area Operation Manager & Motor Underwriter from February 2009 to January 2011.

Chidrup also held the roles of Process Owner & Internal Auditor at ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd from September 2008 to February 2009, and Branch Service Manager at Rajkot, Ahmedabad from November 2006 to September 2008.

They started their career as an Operation Manager at Rajkot from October 2005 to November 2006. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Manager and Management Trainee at Vivro Financial Services Pvt. Ltd from July 2004 to October 2005, where they were involved in tasks such as preparation of prospectus, capital structure, liaison with financial institutions, and business valuation reports.

Chidrup Shah has a diverse educational background. Chidrup completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Business Management from Gujarat University from 1999 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in Finance from the same university, studying from 2002 to 2004.

In 1997, Chidrup Shah obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Commerce from SWASTIK HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL. Following that, they continued their education in the field of insurance. Chidrup attended the Insurance Institute of India, where they completed an Associateship in Non-Life Insurance from 2010 to 2011. Later, from 2011 to 2014, Chidrup Shah obtained a Fellowship in Non-Life Insurance from the same institute.

Furthermore, Chidrup Shah has additional certifications outside of their formal education. In February 2023, they achieved the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
