David Arnold

David Arnold has a diverse work experience spanning over more than 20 years. David started their career in 2001 as a Computer Analyst at Jackson, Rolfes, Spurgeon, & Co., where they were responsible for providing user support, assembling computers, installing applications, and troubleshooting IT systems. In 2002, they became a System Administrator at the same company and managed a heterogeneous network environment, including routine maintenance, monitoring, and system provisioning. David also supervised IT coop students and developed web-based applications.

In 2008, David took on the role of Information Systems Manager at Jackson, Rolfes, Spurgeon & Co., where they managed a full-time staff member and an IT coop student. David planned and managed the voice, data, and A/V aspects of the business relocation and collaborated with assurance staff and IT staff to develop a custom-built portable data and networking appliance for fieldwork. David also ensured the availability, security, and functionality of the network environment.

In 2009, David transitioned to Plante & Moran, PLLC as an Application Developer. David worked closely with business owners and the development team to migrate multiple legacy applications to the modern Microsoft ASP.NET MVC platform. This migration significantly improved the overall user experience and system reliability. David was also responsible for the overall application architecture and user interface standards.

Most recently, David has been working at Online Rewards since 2012. David started as the Director of Software Development, where they led a team and was responsible for overseeing software projects. In 2017, they were promoted to Sr. Platform Architect, where they played a key role in architecting and designing the company's platform. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer.

Throughout their career, David Arnold has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to improving systems and user experiences.

David Arnold completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Cincinnati, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Philosophy at the same university from 1999 to 2000, although they did not obtain a degree in that field.
