Mike Richardson

Mike Richardson's degree was in geophysics which is a combination of math, geography, and physics. He wanted to work for one of the oil majors. However, after his two years on drilling rigs, when they brought him into the office and put him on a technical track, He realized that wasn't for him. So after a total of 5 years with Shell, he quit and went to get his MBA at the London Business School for 2 years. That's when he knew he wanted to go into leadership in the British industry, not least as he had never worked in his homeland since graduating.
