Benton Ferguson

Benton Ferguson is an ETL Developer at OnlineMedEd since August 2019, responsible for implementing and maintaining an Airflow pipeline to consolidate diverse data sources into an enterprise data warehouse, utilizing MySQL, Postgres, Redshift, Segment, bash, and Python. Benton has experience migrating legacy databases to Snowflake and previously served as a Customer Support Engineer, where ticket triage and initial investigation were key duties, alongside building queries to assist the customer support team. Before OnlineMedEd, Benton worked as a Data Wrangler and Reporting specialist at Shelfbucks, managing data ingestion and analysis using SQL and BigQuery. Prior experience includes serving as a Hiring Manager and Operations Analyst at FedEx Ground and an intern at HealthStart Foundation, focusing on health education strategies for homeschoolers. Benton studied at Austin Community College from 2016 to 2019 and attended the University of North Texas from 2010 to 2012.
