Griffin Jones

Griffin Jones is a Verification and Validation Engineer at OnLogic since October 2023, previously serving as a Production Technician. Griffin has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, having worked as Technical Staff at Green Mountain Semiconductor, Inc. from October 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included designing and verifying custom layouts for 14nm FinFET SOI test chips and developing AI logic hardware using Verilog and Spectre. Prior to that, Griffin was a Physical Design Engineer at Nanya Technology from November 2019 to June 2021, focusing on custom layouts for low-power DRAM chip subsystems and collaborating across departments. Earlier experience includes working as an Electronics Technician at NRG Systems and interning at White River Technologies, where research and development of signal processing algorithms took place. Griffin began the professional journey as a Fabrication Lab Manager at the University of Vermont, overseeing student projects and teaching lab equipment usage. Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Vermont, completed in 2016.
