Daniel Lawton

Dan has more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Previously, Dan was President and CEO of Promentis Pharmaceuticals, a clinical phase, venture-funded neuropsych company developing small molecules to treat trichotillomania and other cognitive control disorders. Dan was Group President at Dohmen Life Sciences where he managed a portfolio of life science service companies, and Vice President and General Counsel of Schwarz Pharma, where he was also a member of the U.S. senior management team. His previous work experience includes a number of senior positions at Abbott Laboratories supporting its U.S., Canadian, European and Japanese businesses, with a focus on new business development, licensing, acquisitions, and related transactions. Dan has practiced law at firms in Europe and the United States. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Michigan and was an Economics Teaching Fellow at Harvard University.
