Olga Popovic

Olga Popovic has worked in the agri-food tech industry since 2004. Olga began their career as an Italian Teacher at Centar stranih jezika Lexis Novi Sad in 2004. In 2006, they became a Research Assistant Water Quality/ Urban Farming at the University of Novi Sad. Olga then worked as an Italian Practicant at Italienisches Kulturinstitut Wien (Istituto Italiano di Cultura Vienna) in 2010. From 2012 to 2017, they were a R&D Assistant Water Quality at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences. During this time, they also worked as a Building and Construction Assistant in Urban Farming/ Maintenance at BioOffice AS and as an Urban Agronomist and Consultant, Owner at Fornebu Gartneri. In 2016, they became a Co-Founder and Chief Agronomist in Vertical Farming at BySpire. In 2018, they were a Project Coordinator in Urban Farming at NMBU and a Consultant Agronomist/ Coordinator in Urban Farming at Oslo Kommune, Bydel Grünerløkka. Since 2019, they have been the Head of Agronomy and Chief Agronomist at ONNA.

Olga Popovic received their Master's Degree in Plant Sciences and Plant Production from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) between 2013 and 2015.
