Kaisa Tarkkanen

Kaisa Tarkkanen has extensive experience in the healthcare and life science industry. Kaisa currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Med Group Oy, a large Finnish healthcare group that provides home care services and general healthcare staffing. In addition, they are a Board Member at Pharmia Oy, a leading Finnish food supplement and medical device specialist, and at The Solubility Company, a start-up clinical research organization specializing in solubility studies.

Prior to their current roles, Tarkkanen was the President of Orion Diagnostica Oy, where they successfully led the company through a turnaround. Kaisa also held various positions at Orion Corporation, including Head of Region Scandinavia and Head of Business Control.

Outside of the healthcare industry, Tarkkanen worked as a Research Manager at McDonald's earlier in their career. Kaisa also founded Ad Valorem, a consultancy firm that helps healthcare and life science companies grow and increase their value.

Throughout their career, Tarkkanen has demonstrated a strong focus on customer and people-centric strategies, turnaround management, and business development. Kaisa has a proven track record of successfully implementing strategies and driving organizational growth.

Kaisa Tarkkanen's education history includes three periods of study. In 1981, they attended Helsingin I Normaalikoulu, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. From 1989 to 1995, they attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, where they earned their Msc degree. Lastly, in 2019, they attended Boardman and studied Business Administration and Management, General, focusing on Ownership and Board work.
