Dr. Orit Shalomson

Founder & Executive Director Of The Simulation And Training Center at Ono Academic College - MBA and LLB

Dr. Orit Shalomson has extensive work experience in the field of training and simulation. Dr. Orit is the Co-founder & CEO of Cuez.ai and YUME, both of which aim to improve remote conversations and employee engagement. Dr. Shalomson is also the Founder and CPO of Vidback, a platform that helps build communication skills through real-time analysis and guidance. Dr. Orit established and continues to be actively involved in SimTeam, a simulation center that develops training programs for soft skills. Additionally, they served as the Founder and Executive Director of the Simulation and Training Center at Ono Academic College, where they created a realistic learning environment for developing professional skills. Dr. Shalomson has facilitated workshops and developed simulations for national and international institutions. Dr. Orit has also been a conference speaker and lecturer at various academic institutions. Prior to their current roles, they served as the Head of the Training Development Unit at MSR - Israel Center for Medical Simulation, overseeing the establishment and management of simulation centers worldwide.

Dr. Orit Shalomson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Medical Education from Tel Aviv University, earned in 2008. Dr. Orit also completed a course on Experiential Communication Skills Teaching in Health Professional Education at the University of Cambridge in 2011. In 2002, they took a course on RIAS- Roter Interaction Analysis System at The Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Management and Public Policy from Tel Aviv University, which they completed between 1997 and 1999. In 1988, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Tel Aviv University.
