David Trexler

David Trexler has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at ONO PHARMA USA, INC., where they are responsible for planning, directing, and executing all commercial objectives to drive corporate growth in the US. Prior to this role, from 2019 to 2021, they held the position of President and US Board Member at MorphoSys, where they built a world-class oncology commercial unit and ensured enterprise excellence across various departments.

Before joining MorphoSys, David worked at EMD Serono, Inc. from 2015 to 2019 as the Senior Vice President US Oncology Commercial. In this role, they established Merck KGaA's first commercial oncology footprint in the US, built the sales and marketing organization, and introduced the PLAIR import program to expedite product availability.

From 2005 to 2015, David held multiple positions at Eisai US, including Senior Vice President Americas Oncology Business Unit, Vice President Oncology Business Unit, Vice President Marketing and Business Operations, Vice President Oncology Marketing, Senior Director Oncology Franchise (Sales and Marketing), and Director New Products Marketing. David played a key role in leading the oncology portfolio and opening new markets, launching successful products, and forming co-commercialization relationships with multiple companies.

David's earlier experience includes serving as the Senior Director Cardiovascular Marketing at Mylan Bertek Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2005 and as the Anti-Infective Product Director at Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals from 1986 to 2004.
