Scott Ambrose has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 as the Human Resources Director at Red Lion Hotels, where they implemented an HR program at the Lewiston Red Lion Hotel. In 2002, they joined Matrix Absence Management as the Assistant Vice-President of Integrated Leave Management, specializing in FMLA/State Leave, CBA, and employer policy management. Scott coordinated the management of Federal/State leaves with STD/LTD, WC, and ADA, focusing on healthcare/pharma, airline, tech, and retail industries. Scott had expertise in OR/CA/WA leave laws. In 2019, Scott took on an advisory role at Advisory Cloud, offering business advice to those who requested meetings through their profile. Since January 2023, they have been working as a Human Resource Business Partner at OnPoint Community Credit Union.

Scott Ambrose received their Bachelor's of Science degree in Management from Lewis-Clark State College in 1997. Prior to that, they attended Portland State University from 2001 to 2002, obtaining a degree in Human Resources. Scott also attended Washington State University from 1989 to 1992, though the degree and field of study are unknown. Scott Ambrose completed their high school education at Capital HS.
