Steven Cornell

Steven Cornell has a diverse work experience in the financial and compliance industry. steven is currently working as the VP-Compliance Director at OnPoint Community Credit Union since November 2021. Prior to this, Steven worked at Columbia Bank from 2014 to 2021, where they held various roles including VP-Compliance Testing Manager and VP-Fair Banking Manager. steven was responsible for developing and maintaining compliance monitoring schedules, testing sheets, and readiness point libraries. Before joining Columbia Bank, Steven worked as a Senior Manager at Moss Adams LLP from 2004 to 2013, where they managed regulatory compliance and internal audit reviews for financial services clients. steven began their career as an Executive Trainee at Meier & Frank in 2002 and then worked as a Customer Experience Specialist III at Wells Fargo from 1998 to 2001.

Steven Cornell earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media Productions (Journalism School) from the University of Oregon from 1993 to 1997. steven then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Portland State University from 1999 to 2001.
