Joshua Brinkley started their career as a student at Texas Tech University from 2001 to 2006. Joshua then worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics from June 2006 to October 2007, contributing to the implementation and testing of fighter aircraft local sensor software. Following that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Collins from October 2007 to February 2014. At Rockwell Collins, they were involved in software development and debugging for flight and mission-critical software on fighter aircraft.
In 2014, Joshua worked as a Software Engineer IV at BAE Systems, where they served as the Software Technical Lead for integrating Tactical Data Link software into avionics systems for fighter aircraft. Joshua contributed to the software architectural design for integrating DDS and Link-16 into avionics systems.
From December 2014 to September 2015, they worked as a Software Engineering Consultant at Hunt Advanced Drilling Technology LLC. Then, from October 2015 to March 2019, they served as a Lead Software Engineer at Motive Drilling Technologies.
From March 2019 to January 2022, Joshua held the position of Product Architect at H&P Technologies. Lastly, from February 2022 to February 2023, they worked as a Scientist in Systems Engineering at L3Harris Technologies. Currently, they serve as a Principal Software Engineer at OnRamp starting from February 2023.
Joshua Brinkley attended Texas Tech University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science.
