Dan Roberts is the co-founder and CEO of OnRe, the world’s on-chain reinsurance company, which is fully licensed to accept digital assets as collateral for writing reinsurance. OnRe's first product, ONe, denominated in sUSDe and composable across the DeFi ecosystem, generates reinsurance returns that are uncorrelated to crypto volatility, with additional sUSDe yields and token incentives. They previously co-founded Nayms, the world’s first fully-regulated marketplace for on-chain insurance, from 2019 to 2025. Earlier ventures include Lacuna Health (2017–2018), BananaBerry (2014–2015), Lacuna Digital (2015–2017), Flyingcarpet (2018), and Project Jellyfish (2018–2019), in roles ranging from founder and co-founder to operations lead and researcher.
