Robert Oliver, PhD has a diverse work experience in various research and scientific roles. Robert is currently working as the Lead Data Scientist at Ontada since February 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Scientist at Armonica Technologies, Inc. from May 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining the industry, Robert worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lovelace Biomedical from October 2020 to May 2021, and at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine from February 2019 to October 2020. Robert also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Veterans Medical Research Foundation from November 2017 to December 2018, where they introduced DNA/RNA biological research and techniques, and managed equipment procurement for these techniques.

Robert started their career as a Doctoral Student at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine from June 2012 to November 2017, working on bioinformatics-based predictions using public genomic databases. Prior to that, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at various laboratories including Allan/Perrone-Bizzozero Laboratory, Thompson/Hudson Laboratory, Tomkinson Laboratory, and Gershon Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience.

Robert Oliver, PhD, completed their education at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine from 2011 to 2017, earning a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Neurobiology. Prior to that, they attended the University of Chicago from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Endocrinology. In addition to their formal education, Robert has pursued various certifications, including the "2021 Complete Python Bootcamp From Zero to Hero in Python" and "Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp with R" from Udemy. Robert has also obtained certifications in Bioinformatics, Deep Learning, Interactive Python Dashboards, Learning Python for Data Analysis and Visualization, Machine Learning, NLP - Natural Language Processing with Python, Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp, and The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2021: Go from Zero to Hero, all from Udemy.
