Jaspreet Sandhu

Jaspreet Sandhu is currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs, Communications and Research at the Ontario Arts Council since January 2024. With extensive experience in strategic advisory roles, including a long tenure at J.Sandhu since 2008, Jaspreet has developed and executed strategic planning, change-management solutions, and brand marketing initiatives for non-profit organizations. Notably, previous positions include Vice President of Development at The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall and Senior Director of Loyalty & Direct Marketing at the Toronto International Film Festival, where significant accomplishments included raising over $20 million in new project grants and spearheading digital transformation efforts. Academic qualifications include an MA in Critical Theory and Cultural Studies from McMaster University and a double major BFA and BA from York University in Film Production and South Asian Studies.
