Manager, Technology Commercialization at Ontario Bioscience Industry Organization

Kushbu L. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology commercialization and entrepreneurship. They started their career as a Research Technician with the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, where they worked on the Ontario Health Study. They then moved on to the Ontario Brain Institute as a Management Fellow, focusing on industry relations and promoting the commercialization of neurotechnology. Kushbu then joined Keiretsu Forum Central Canada as the Director of Entrepreneurship, playing a crucial role in funding companies in their pre-Series A rounds. They later joined Keiretsu Forum Canada as an Associate, conducting due diligence for potential investment opportunities. Most recently, Kushbu has been working as the Manager of Technology Commercialization at the Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization, where they focus on advancing the commercialization of Ontario's human health science companies.

Kushbu L. obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Toronto in the years 2006 to 2011. Kushbu'sstudies focused on Human Biology, Physiology, and Political Science. Later, they pursued a Master's of Science degree at King's College London from 2013 to 2014, with a specialization in Neuroscience and a specific focus on Neuroimaging.
