Maria Zumpano

Maria Zumpano is an experienced Senior Accountant, currently employed at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce since 2020. Previously, Maria held the position of Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting at Volvo Trucks from 2017 to 2020. Maria's background includes roles as an Independent Consultant providing accounting services at AGILE Chemical Solutions Inc. and as an Independent Contractor handling accounting processes at WorkAround Software, Inc. Maria's early career includes extensive experience at the Nickel Institute and Nickel Development Institute, managing comprehensive accounting functions for non-profit organizations. Maria began in the accounting field as a Junior Accountant at American Life Insurance Company and has a solid foundation in administrative roles, including an early position as an Administrative Assistant at Remax Business. Maria holds a Business Administration Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Sheridan College and has completed Financial Accounting courses at the University of Toronto along with the Certified General Accountants Program.
