Silvia Velalcazar is an experienced Information Technology professional with a background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Information Technology Support Manager at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since January 2009, Silvia is responsible for identifying requirements for new desktop services and overseeing the management of software licenses and hardware agreements. Prior roles include Technical Analyst in Desktop Support and Technical Analyst Associate in HelpDesk, where Silvia acted as the primary point of contact for users and implemented processes to enhance support services. Silvia also served as Tier 2 IT Support at The Bagg Group from September 2002 to March 2009. Silvia holds a diploma in Computer Technology from Humber College and additional education from the University of Quevedo.
