Tamara Ozdemir

Tamara Ozdemir is an experienced Library Technician with a diverse background in library and information services. Currently serving on the OLA Superconference Planning Committee for the Ontario Library Association since February 2024, Tamara has been a Library Technician at McMaster University since May 2004, where responsibilities include managing Scholarly Publishing and Communication, Open Access Journals, and the Institutional Repository. As a Bibliographic Corrections Group Member at HathiTrust since January 2020, tasks involve identifying bibliographic errors and interacting with contributing institutions. Additionally, Tamara has contributed to the Commonwealth Project as a Copyright Reviewer and served as Professional Development Liaison for the Ontario Association of Library Technicians/Association des bibliotechniciens de l'Ontario, facilitating training opportunities for members. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Libraries and Digital Technologies and a Bachelor's Degree in English from McMaster University.
