Lisa Lefebvre MD MPH has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Lisa has held the role of Board Director at the Ontario Medical Foundation since 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Founding Medical Director at SummitIME, where they provided Addiction Medicine Independent Medical Examinations through telemedicine. Lisa also worked as an Associate Medical Director at the Ontario Medical Association starting in 2014. Before that, they were an Independent Medicolegal Evaluator at their own practice. Lisa previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine starting in 2007 and worked as a Staff Physician in Addiction Medicine at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) starting in 2005. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Medical Consultant at Bellwood Health Services.

Lisa Lefebvre MD MPH completed their education in a variety of institutions and programs. Lisa received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from McGill University in 2003. Lisa then pursued further training in the field of Family Medicine, completing a Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2005. In 2008, they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, also at the University of Toronto. Lisa then completed an Addiction Medicine Fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2006.

In addition to their education, Lisa Lefebvre MD MPH has obtained several certifications. These include a Certificate of Added Competence in Addiction Medicine from The College of Family Physicians of Canada - Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine in 2019, a Medical Review Officer certification from the MEDICAL REVIEW OFFICER CERTIFICATION COUNCIL in 2017, and a Diplomate certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) in 2009. Lisa is also a Fellow of both The College of Family Physicians of Canada - Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine - ASAM.
