Lekshmi Balakrishnan Nair is an experienced IT Project Manager with a demonstrated history of managing end-to-end project delivery across various organizations. Currently serving at the Ontario Nurses' Association since February 2021, Lekshmi focuses on modernizing member-facing services using agile methodologies. Prior experience includes four years at Deloitte, where Lekshmi managed numerous projects in the WGS Enrollment Domain, overseeing enterprise implementations and leading a sizable team. At IBM, Lekshmi played key roles as IT Project Lead, Senior Application Developer, and Application Developer, contributing to significant migration projects and system architecture designs. Early career experience at UST Global involved requirements analysis, project planning, and direct client interaction. Lekshmi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

The Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) is a proactive union committed to improving the economic welfare and quality of work-life for our members, to enable them to provide high-quality health care. Founded in 1973, the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) is the trade union that represents 60,000 registered nurses and allied health professionals working throughout Ontario, including: hospitals community health long-term care public health clinics industry Each facility represented by ONA has a Bargaining Unit President that oversees union activities within that facility. The provincial organization is divided into Locals, which is headed by a Local Coordinator. Bargaining Unit Presidents as well as Local Coordinators are ONA members, and are members' best source of information as it pertains to their facility.
