LouAnn Buhrows is an accomplished Internal Communications Program Manager at the Ontario Pension Board since March 2017, focusing on engagement and business priorities. Previously, LouAnn served in various roles at the Government of Ontario from January 2009 to February 2017, including Manager of Corporate and Internal Communications, where leadership of a creative team was key to developing engagement strategies. Additional experiences include serving as Strategic Advisor to the Assistant Deputy Minister in Community Services and as Project Coordinator for Alternative Service Delivery. Prior roles at the Government of Ontario also encompassed Assistant Director of Communications and Executive Assistant to senior officials, contributing to stakeholder engagement and program administration. Before this, LouAnn worked at Canadian Tire, specializing in internal communications and marketing support. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of Toronto, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Waterloo, and several certifications.
