Mona Vaughan-Burnett, ABCP, is an experienced corporate risk and business continuity professional currently serving as the Corporate Risk & Business Continuity Officer at the Ontario Pension Board since September 2014. In this role, Mona manages business continuity and enterprise risk management efforts and chairs the Emergency Warden Committee while also being a member of the Incident Response Team. Prior to this, Mona held the position of Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer, focusing on compliance and corporate governance. From February 2003 to March 2013, Mona was the Business Continuity Lead at Amex Bank of Canada, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of the global Business Continuity Program. Earlier experience includes roles as a Project Analyst at Sprint Canada and a Senior Support Analyst at Bank of Montreal/Moneris Solutions. Mona holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from the University of Toronto Scarborough and additional education from Durham College.
