Scott Nelms

Scott Nelms serves as the Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Ontario Power Generation since June 2020, previously holding roles including Director of Commercial Management for Nuclear Refurbishment. Prior to this, Scott Nelms was the Assistant Deputy Minister for Alcohol Gaming and Special Projects at the Ministry of Finance from July 2017 to June 2020, and Executive Director at the Ministry of Energy from December 2015 to June 2017. Scott Nelms also held the position of Director of Strategic Analysis & Performance Management at Ontario Ministry of Energy from March 2013 to November 2015, and worked at the Ontario Financing Authority from 2008 to April 2013 as Senior Manager of Financial Advisory Services and as a Senior Economist and Financial Advisor. Earlier experience includes serving as an Economist at the Ministry of Energy from 2006 to 2008. Scott Nelms holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University.
