Sophia Kebede

Sophia Kebede, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Regulatory Finance at Ontario Power Generation since September 2021, overseeing financial aspects of rate-setting activities and financial reporting. Previously, Sophia held roles in external reporting and accounting policy management at OPG, client management and investments at Northwood Family Office, and as an Experienced Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada. With a foundational career that began as a Senior Associate at PwC Canada, Sophia also gained experience in events management at UBC Sauder School of Business and business consulting for the City of Vancouver. Academic credentials include a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of British Columbia, complemented by CPA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
