Tim Walker

Acting Director, Children And Family Programs at Ontario Science Centre

Tim Walker is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in the cultural and academic sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Learning at the Ontario Science Centre since August 2024, Tim previously held multiple roles at Harbourfront Centre from September 2009 to August 2024, including Senior Manager of Education, where responsibilities included oversight of Camps and School Visits programming. Tim’s experience also encompasses positions such as Manager of School Visits, Education Officer, and Educator, all focused on delivering curriculum-driven, experiential learning to students. Additionally, Tim has served as a part-time professor at Centennial College within the Arts Education and Community Engagement program. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education from York University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Geography and Sociology from the University of Toronto and in Intermediate/Senior Education from Trent University. Tim's early career included a role as Hosting Lead at CN Tower from 2003 to 2007.
