Melanie Keays is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community outreach and support services, currently serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator at The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society since June 2023. Previously, Melanie held the position of Family Violence and Prevention Coordinator at the Georgian Bay Native Friendship Centre from November 2018 to June 2023, and worked as a Behavior Specialist at Bartimaeus Inc. from February 2018 to June 2023. Additional roles include Regional Coordinator for Sheatre - Far From the Heart Production, where Melanie focused on educating youth about sexual and dating violence, and various positions at organizations such as the Ontario Family Group Homes and the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. Melanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lakehead University and completed studies at Fleming College.
