Dakota Livingston (she/her/hers)

Dakota Livingston served as a student trustee for the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board in 2017-2018. She currently works with youth in the non-profit sector to advance climate action and diversify STEM spaces across Canada. She graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Global and International Studies degree, specializing in international law and policy from Carleton University. During her time at university, Dakota was heavily involved in student leadership, being elected to two terms on the Carleton Academic Student Government executive team, where she advocated for compassionate grading measures, and increased student supports during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

In all senses, Dakota values community and is excited to be combining her experience in student advocacy and supporting youth in her role as a Director with OSTA-AECO to continue amplifying student voice across the province.
