Dylan Bender

Co-founder/chief Engineer/mentor at Ontario Tech Space and Rocketry

Dylan Bender is a co-founder and Chief Engineer at Ontario Tech Space and Rocketry, where responsibilities include leading the design team for the Launch Canada rocket engineering competition and currently mentoring the team. As a Research Assistant at AD2MLabs since 2017, Dylan focuses on advanced digital design and manufacturing. Experience includes roles in engine design and integration for Launch Canada and various teaching positions at Ontario Tech University in engineering subjects. Dylan holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a thesis on additive manufacturing and a Bachelor of Engineering with a mechatronics option. Previous positions include 3D scanning specialist at Project Arrow and machining roles at Armo-Tool, contributing extensive knowledge in CNC machining and engineering design.
