Pooria Madani

Pooria Madani, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and industry professional with a robust background in computer science. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Ontario Tech University, Pooria has also held significant roles in the private sector, including as the Director of Data Science and Data Scientist at Periscope Capital. Previous experience includes serving as Contract Faculty and Research Assistant at York University, as well as Director at AlecTech Inc. and Independent Contractor - Security Content Researcher at Security Compass. Pooria earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from York University in December 2021 and attended a summer program at the University of Waterloo focused on Quantum Key Distribution in August 2019.
