Joyce Drohan

Joyce Drohan serves as the Chief AI & Technology Officer for the Ontario Government, overseeing Technology and Artificial Intelligence Strategy to enhance the lives of Ontarians. Previously, Drohan held multiple leadership roles at Sanofi, including Chief Technology Officer and Global Chief Data Officer, focusing on transforming data into actionable insights through AI and Machine Learning. Experience also includes significant positions at Deloitte, PwC Canada, and the UK Civil Service, with expertise in analytics, healthcare, and organizational development. Drohan began a career in the pharmaceutical sector with AstraZeneca and Pfizer, growing expertise in marketing and sales. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Organizational Development from McMaster University.
