Kapil Malhotra

Kapil Malhotra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in trade and business development within international contexts. Currently serving as Trade Commissioner-Ontario at the High Commission of Canada since August 2018, Kapil previously held the position of Trade Commissioner at the High Commission of Canada in India from August 2015 to August 2018. Prior to this, Kapil gained significant expertise as Senior Manager of Business Development for Europe at Abellon Clean Energy Ltd. from September 2008 to July 2015. Early career experience includes roles as a Business Development Executive at Repsol and a Commodity Analyst at Jaypee International Inc. Kapil's academic background includes a Master’s in Management with a focus on Energy from UPES, a Diploma in International Marketing from the Ahmedabad Management Association, and a Bachelor of Education in Instrumentation & Control from B.M. Institute of Engineering & Technology.
