Mohammad Qureshi

Mohammad Qureshi is currently the Corporate Chief Information Officer and Associate Deputy Minister at the Ontario Government, leading Government Information Technology Ontario (GovTechON) with approximately 4,000 specialists. With over 20 years in public service, they focus on harnessing transformative technology to improve public sector outcomes. Previously, Qureshi served as Ontario’s first Chief Security Officer and has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Information & Information Technology at the Ontario Clean Water Agency and Chief Information Security Officer at the Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat. Qureshi holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and completed an Executive Program in Leadership, Strategy, and IT Management at Queen's University.
