Ángel de León Zamora

Ángel de León Zamora's work experience includes:

- At Ontex, they served as the Global Head of Compliance and Head of Legal for the Americas, Middle East, and Africa Division, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Legal and Compliance for the same division from February 2019 to April 2023. From June 2017 to March 2019, they were the Head of Legal for the Americas Division at Ontex.

- At Unilever, Ángel worked as the General Counsel for Mexico and the Caribbean from March 2015 to May 2017.

- At Procter & Gamble, Mexico, Ángel held various roles for several years. From January 2014 to June 2014, they served as the Director and Associate General Counsel, leading a capability project and supporting regional self-regulatory organizations. From February 2010 to December 2013, they were the Director and Associate General Counsel, acting as the legal contact for the Vice-Chair of the Beauty and Grooming category and providing legal counsel for the Beauty category in North America. Before that, they held different positions within the Mexico, North America, and Latin America organizations, including being a Senior Counsel and Commercial lawyer.

- Ángel began their career at the Ministry of Commerce, Mexico, as an Analyst at the Foreign Investment Directorate. Ángel conducted research and analysis on foreign investment treaties, provided counsel on Mexican Foreign Investment Law to foreign investors, and assisted in the process of Mexico's incorporation into the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Ángel held this role from 1993 to 1994.

Ángel de León Zamora pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from 1992 to 1997 at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
