Kirsten Fields has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Kirsten began as an intern at Country Living Magazine and worked their way up to become a Decorating & Crafting Assistant Editor. Kirsten then joined David Stark Design & Production as a Production Assistant. Later, they worked as a Freelance Home & Garden Associate Editor at iVillage and as a Content Manager at Moolala.com. Kirsten also worked as a Market Editor, Crafter & Stylist at various freelance projects, where they produced home décor, lifestyle, and craft/DIY stories for print and digital publications. Kirsten joined Spiceworks as an Email Marketing Coordinator, Demand Gen where they managed the top-performing demand gen channel. Kirsten later became a Marketing Specialist, Demand Gen and eventually a Marketing Communications Manager. After that, Kirsten worked at Rabbet as a Marketing Manager and later as a Senior Marketing Manager. Currently, they are the Director of Marketing at Ontic, a company that makes software for security professionals.
Kirsten Fields completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2001 to 2005. In 2004, they also pursued Dutch Studies at the University of Groningen for a brief period.
