Chris Binns

Chris Binns is an experienced professional in business operations and strategy, currently serving at Onto Innovation since April 2024. Previously, Chris held key leadership roles at Cepheid from October 2014 to February 2024, including Sr Director of Regional Business Operations, where responsibilities included driving continuous improvement in sales enablement, establishing a business operations team for the Asia Pacific region, and managing critical Covid-19 diagnostic tests. Other roles at Cepheid involved global sales forecasting, supply chain optimization, and direct oversight of a large cross-functional team. Prior to Cepheid, Chris spent over 14 years at KLA-Tencor in various positions, including Supply Chain Director and Director of SSCM Planning, focusing on compliance programs and service supply chain enhancements. Chris holds an MBA in Operations and Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and dual bachelor's degrees in Finance and Arts from the University of Florida.
