Heshan Fernando

Heshan Fernando is an experienced equipment engineer with a focus on metrology, currently serving as Equipment Engineer III at Onto Innovation since June 2018. Prior to this role, Heshan worked as a Product Support Engineer at TELTEC for a brief period in 2018 and held the position of CMP Process and Equipment Technologist at Micron Technology from April 2014 to July 2018. Heshan began the career as an R&D Assistant Engineer at REC Solar, specializing in solar cell characterization and metrology. Heshan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland and a degree in Micro and Nanotechnology from Republic Polytechnic.
