Jongsoo-James Chai

Jongsoo-James Chai has over 20 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnering, management, and generalist roles. Jongsoo-James is currently working as a Human Resources Business Partner at Onto Innovation since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Nanometrics for six years, initially as a Senior HR Manager-Asia Pacific from May 2014 to December 2015, and then as an HR Business Partner for Korea & Japan from January 2016 to July 2020. Before joining Nanometrics, they were an HR Manager at Momentive from June 2009 to May 2014, an ER Specialist at Bosch from May 2005 to June 2009, an HR Generalist at Celltrion Inc. from November 2004 to May 2005, and an HR Generalist at Ssangyong Materials Corp from January 2001 to November 2004.

From 1994 to 2001, Jongsoo-James Chai attended the University of Seoul in South Korea where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
