Michael Frick

Michael Frick has extensive experience in technical writing and illustration. Michael started their career as an Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp. in 1981 and worked there until 1994. In 2004, they became a Senior Technical Writer at Kollsman for a year. From 2005 to 2015, they worked at Gentex as a Senior Technical Writer, Illustrator, and Draftsman. In 2015, they joined ConEst as a Senior Technical Writer and Illustrator, where they created online help, manuals, and illustrations using tools like Madcap Flare, FrameMaker, and Adobe Illustrator. Currently, they are working as a Senior Technical Writer at Onto Innovation since 2019.

Michael Frick attended the University of Lowell from 1974 to 1978, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology. During the same period, they also earned a BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from the University of Lowell. Later on, in March 2000, Michael obtained a certification in Technical Writing from the American Management Association.
