Sathya S. Mabbu

Sathya S. Mabbu has over 13 years of work experience in the software industry. They started their career as a Software Engineer at Nanometrics in February 2008 and worked on designing, developing, and testing software for the analysis of spectroscopic reflectance and Ellipsometric data. In August 2013, they became a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, where they continued their work on software development and also set specifications and requirements for mathematical analysis. In February 2017, they transitioned to the role of Software Manager, where they planned, managed, and executed software development projects, established software development standards and processes, and maintained relationships with internal stakeholders. In July 2019, they briefly took on the role of Program Manager/Software before moving to Onto Innovation in November 2019. At Onto Innovation, Sathya has held multiple positions, including Program Manager/Software, where they demonstrated a proven track record of managing projects and programs, and currently, as Senior Program Manager/Hardware, where they are managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams. They have experience in managing the Ai Diffract program and have worked on the NDX program, a joint collaboration with Bruker.

Sathya S. Mabbu completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science Engineering at the University of Madras from 2000 to 2004. Sathya S. then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Texas State University from 2005 to 2008.
