Ontogeny accelerates profitable growth for companies from inception to maturity through hands-on strategic and operational support, that may be combined with capital infusion either directly or indirectly through our investment arm. Our model is to leverage deep insight and experience to develop businesses from the inside in close cooperation with management and owners.

We work exclusively with cases in which we can make a significant impact based on our industry experience, extensive network and competence base. Our compensation model varies from standard retainer to equity based remuneration. We can also engage in longer management for hire and project management contracts or assume board positions.

Our key services comprise strategy, business development, corporate finance, performance improvement & turnaround. We are involved in a range of industries, however, our main foothold is within consumer goods/retail, oil & gas and ICT.

Ontogeny is owned and run by individuals with partner level consulting and corporate finance capabilities, coupled with experience from senior executive positions. Our ambition is to combine inspiring working environments with challenging business issues, have fun and make money along the way. Maintaining rock-solid business ethics is paramount to our success, and we will never compromise the interests of our clients. Our enthusiastic, committing and low-key style combined with our strong business acumen and creativity, makes it profitable and enjoyable to work with us.
