Jacob Kunkel began their career in 2009 as a Cashier at Dairy Queen. In 2010, they took on two roles at Macalester College as a Building Manager and Safewalker. In 2011, they worked as a Security Guard for Crowd Management Systems and a Manufacturer for Accor Technologies. In 2013, they joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a Truck Team Member. From 2014 to 2018, Jacob worked with Valley Outreach (AmeriCorps VISTA) as a Volunteer Coordinator and Program Manager. Finally, from 2018 to 2021, they worked with Durham Exchange Club Industries, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Technologist and Program Services Administrative Assistant. Since 2021, Jacob has been employed as a Technology Analyst at OnTrack Technologies, where they are responsible for end-to-end software development and testing, soliciting client feedback, driving UI/UX design and implementation, and providing project management for the development team.
Jacob Kunkel attended Macalester College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government. In 2013, they also attended the School for International Training for a program in Nicaragua: Revolution, Transformation, and Civil Society. In January 2023, they obtained a Value-based Care Analytics Certificate from CareJourney.
