Matt Deaton

Matt Deaton has extensive work experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Matt is currently the Vice President at Ontrak Logistics, where they started in October 2022. Before joining Ontrak Logistics, Matt worked at Lightning Transport for five years as the Director of Business Development from September 2017 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were the General Manager of Sales and Operations at Robin Hood Container Express, Inc from July 2014 to August 2017. Matt also worked as an Intermodal Terminal Manager at C&K Trucking Company from July 2013 to June 2014, at Transport America from April 2011 to July 2013, and at G&P Trucking Company from January 2007 to April 2011. At G&P Trucking Company, they held various roles such as Intermodal Terminal Manager, Intermodal Fleet Manager, and Domestic Fleet Manager. Matt's career started in the medical field, where they worked as a Medical Sales Consultant at PSS from November 2000 to May 2002 and as a Medical Sales Representative from June 1999 to November 2000.

Matt Deaton earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Newberry College between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Lancaster High School in Lancaster, SC.
