Adam Culpepper

Adam Culpepper has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and technology. Adam currently works at Universe as a Web Lead, where they focus on web performance, asset load times, SEO, accessibility, and browser compatibility. Adam manages a team of 6 developers and is involved in project estimations, quality assurance, employee recruitment, and team building. Adam has also worked as a Senior Frontend Web Engineer at Universe.

Adam has a long history of freelancing as a Front-End Web Developer, specializing in JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. Adam has worked with various web design, advertising, and marketing firms, using content management systems such as Adobe Business Catalyst, Craft CMS, Shopify, WordPress, and more.

Adam is the founder of Louisiana Designathon, which was inspired by Hackathons. Adam also served as an organizer for Refresh Baton Rouge, a community of designers and developers promoting design, technology, usability, and standards.

At Trendsic Corporation Inc., Adam worked as a Senior UI Developer, involved in UI development, JavaScript programming, client training and support, project estimations, quality assurance, and DNS management. Adam also had responsibilities in employee recruitment, team building, and company culture.

Adam has previously worked at Envoc as a Front-End Web Developer, where they converted PSD designs into responsive, SEO-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various content management systems. Adam has also contributed as an author for Packt and served as a board member and web design chair for Baton Rouge Social Media Association.

Earlier in their career, Adam worked as a Lead Front-End Web Developer at FUSE, initially as a freelancer and then as a full-time employee. Adam has expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, SQL, API integration, and responsive design.

Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated strong technical skills in web development, project management, team leadership, and a passion for promoting and building communities within the industry.

Adam Culpepper attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2010 to 2011, where they studied photography. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from the Baton Rouge School of Computers. In 2001 to 2002, they had a period of study at Baton Rouge Community College, where they focused on general studies.
