Michael Gerkovich, MPS, ATR-BC, LPC, is an experienced art therapist currently working at Onward Behavioral Health since November 2020, focusing on populations with mental health issues, eating disorders, and substance use disorders in a Partial Hospitalization Program setting. Previous roles include serving as an art therapist at Merakey and facilitating art projects as a teaching artist at SpArc Studios. Michael has also contributed to mental health initiatives at various organizations, including the Center for Autism and Fountain House. In addition to practical experience, Michael holds a Master of Professional Studies in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Digital Video from the University of the Arts.
