John Solberg

John is an experienced real estate development deal maker with many years of executive and managerial experience successfully overseeing over 100 million square feet of development, design, construction, and property management activities for some of the nation’s top commercial development companies.

Prior to founding Onward Investors, John was President and CEO of Opus Northwest, L.L.C. based in Minneapolis with a region that extended from Minnesota westward and included offices in Kansas City, St. Louis, Denver, Seattle, and Portland. Under John’s leadership, Opus Northwest consistently delivered commercial projects of the highest quality while consistently exceeding the company’s investment objectives. For over 10 years Opus Northwest produced from $500 million to $700 million annually in revenue and was the most active commercial developer in most of its markets. John’s industry experience includes time as Vice President for Intracorp Real Estate, located in Seattle and as a Director of National Acquisitions and Development for Betawest Properties in Denver.
