Chaitanya Kulkarni

Chaitanya Kulkarni is a seasoned Functional Safety Manager at Onward Technologies Limited, specializing in ISO 26262 compliance and leading safety-critical automotive projects since April 2020. With a robust background in functional safety, AUTOSAR, embedded software, cybersecurity, and system engineering, Chaitanya has successfully defined safety maturity and aligned cross-domain teams for a BMW fuel cell compressor project. Prior to this role, Chaitanya served as a Specialist in Model-Based Development (MBD) and AUTOSAR at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, contributing to platform enhancements and leading automation efforts. Chaitanya's earlier experience includes positions at L&T Technology Services and KPIT, where development of advanced MATLAB models and management of software specifications were key contributions. Chaitanya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pune University.
