Jarom Roney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jarom started their career at Cafe Galleria as a Kitchen Staff in 2011. Jarom then worked as an Athletics Marketing Intern at BYU, where they participated in planning and executing marketing for various athletic events. After that, they served as a full-time Volunteer Service and Proselytizing Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Nagoya, Japan, for two years. In 2015, they interned at Strawberry Ranch Mountain Resort as a Sales and Marketing Intern, and at The Innovator's DNA as a Product Analyst Intern. Jarom then joined Brigham Young University as an Entrepreneurship Teaching Assistant and worked at Kickstart Seed Fund as a Class Due Diligence Intern. In 2016, they interned at Capshare as an Equity Analyst Intern. Jarom later joined Deloitte as an Advisory Consultant in 2017. Currently, they serve as the CEO of Onward Technology, where they previously held the position of VP of Business Development.

Jarom Roney graduated from Brigham Young University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they received a certification in MS Excel: Pivot Tables, Lookups, Database and Finance Functions from Kubicle. In April 2016, they obtained a Griffin Hill Base Camp Certification from Griffin Hill. In September 2017, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker through EC-Council. Most recently, in February 2018, they obtained a Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate from ISACA. Additionally, in December 2018, Jarom completed the Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification with CWNP.
